‘Myongji University Solver’ Lee Min-cheol “Thanks to the team members and coach, I worked with a sense of responsibility”

Myongji University’s troubleshooter Lee Min-cheol led the team to victory.

Myongji University Lee Min-cheol played an active part with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the 2023 KUSF College Basketball U-League match against Sangmyung University held at Myongji University Natural Campus Gymnasium on the 12th. Myongji University, with Lee Min-cheol at the forefront, achieved a pleasant victory 81-76 after a close match.

Lee Min-cheol, whom we met after the game, said, “All the team members worked together to bring victory. It’s a really significant victory. That’s why I feel better.”

Myongji University seemed to win easily, running away by 13 points at one point in the third quarter. However, as the concentration dropped in the fourth quarter, Sangmyung University was allowed to chase, and they won by sweat.

“All of us couldn’t give up our greed, so unreasonable attacks came out. And defense, rebounding, and boxing were definitely different from the first half. I think that’s why they didn’t allow the chase.” Lee Min-chul’s words. 안전놀이터

At the moment of crisis, Lee Min-chul came out as a solver. He scored 10 out of 19 total points in the 4th quarter, leading Myongji University to win. At the end of the game, he made both free throws in difficult situations.

Lee Min-cheol said, “My teammates led the game well until the 3rd quarter, so I was able to play an active part in the 4th quarter. My teammates and coach (Kim Tae-jin) pushed me, and shooting with more responsibility led to good results.”

After the match, Myongji University will enter the midterm exam break. And on the 25th, we will go on an expedition to Cheonan to face Dankook University.

Lee Min-cheol said, “It is natural to make up for what is lacking during the break. I think I need to do more research on what went well so that I can save it. And I will focus on getting my hands and feet in sync with my teammates.”
