Man Utd’s Sancho refuses to apologize to van Gaal because…”If I can’t train, he should start me”

Jaden Sancho’s saga continues.

British Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on the Jaden Sancho saga on Saturday. Sancho’s demeanor throughout the process has been shocking.

“Sancho will not train with the first-team squad until the discipline issues within the squad are resolved, during which time he will train privately,” Manchester United announced on Friday.

Sancho has been suspended, effectively removing him from the squad. He made waves earlier this month with his protest.

He was left off the roster for the match against Arsenal in the fourth round of the Premier League last season. United lost 1-3 to the Gunners at the time.

“The reason for Sancho’s exclusion was that his performance in training was not up to our standards,” Mourinho said in an official press conference.

However, Sancho was not happy with the manager’s explanation. “You can’t believe everything you see,” he said. “I trained very well,” he said, “I think there are other reasons for this. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time,” he retorted.

It was a strong message from Sancho to Tenhach. It was so strong that it was called a name-calling.

“I believe there are other reasons for this that I won’t talk about. I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time. It’s not fair!” and claimed that the competition for a starting spot in the team was not fair.

The Manchester Evening News reported, “Sancho has since deleted the post on social media. But the post had attracted a lot of attention from fans before the match. United have taken a hard line with Sancho in the interests of discipline.”

Sancho reportedly refused to apologize to Van Gaal when asked by the club. He was handed a disciplinary punishment of being dropped from the first team roster. It’s likely that he won’t get a chance with the team for the foreseeable future.

Sancho joined United from Dortmund (Germany) in 2021. The Red Devils paid Dortmund a whopping £73 million ($120.2 million) for the player, but Sancho has been a substitute on three occasions this season, failing to record a goal or an assist.

United, meanwhile, are 11th out of 20 teams with two wins and two defeats since the start of the season (six points).

Romano explained Sancho’s refusal to apologize: “He believes that training shouldn’t be based on performance, so he thinks it’s wrong to be left out of the starting lineup because he didn’t train,” Romano said. 스포츠토토

“For this reason, Sancho believes he is being discriminated against by Coach Ten Haag, and he still refuses to apologize.”
