“HERE WE GO” PL dancing machine also to Saudi…”3 years contract”
The ‘Premier League Dancing Machine’ is going to Saudi Arabia.
“Alain Saint-Maximilien (26, Newcastle) is moving to Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia), according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who is familiar with the transfer market. The deal is for three years, he added.
Saint-Maximin is one of the most spectacular dribbling strikers in the Premier League. He uses split-second changes of direction and incredible quickness to confuse opposing defenses. Some have called him a “dancing machine” because his dribbling looks like he’s dancing.
He joined Newcastle from OGC Nice (France) in 2019. Early on, he was criticized for his lack of substance compared to his flashy dribbling. In his first season, he made 30 appearances, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.
However, in recent years, he has become a mainstay for Newcastle. Opposing defenses were at a loss in front of Saint-Maximilien’s dribbling, but last season was a disappointment. A nagging hamstring injury slowed him down, and his performances dropped. Newcastle used the likes of Miguel Almirón and Jacob Murphy in his place. In total, Saint-Maximilien made 31 appearances while his rivals were on the field, but he only managed one goal and five assists. 메이저놀이터
Eventually, Eddie Howe labeled him a non-factor. Al Ahli took advantage.
This summer, Saudi clubs have been luring some of Europe’s top talent with the power of “oil money” behind them. Al Ahli is no different. It has already signed Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy and Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino. They’re now close to signing Riyad Mahrez.
Now they’re adding Saint-Maximilien to the mix. That’s a lot of players who have made their mark in the Premier League.
